I’m Going
On A Coaches Tour In Brazil. Want To Go
With Me? |
|
"I've always
loved Brazilian soccer, but now I've
fallen in love with the country
itself. The
transportation, accommodations, food
and most
importantly, THE SOCCER, all were
excellent and
completely surpassed my expectations.
Everything
about our tour guides, Soccer Futuro,
was first class,
and I found the Brazilian people to be
warm, helpful
and friendly. I didn’t want it to
end. I can't wait to go back!"
By Toby Rappolt
I’m going on a coach’s tour in Brazil
from January 24 to February 5. This is
a rare opportunity for you, the American
soccer coach, to experience a 9-day
Brazilian coaching adventure you will
never forget.
A very good friend of mine Professor
Emilio Miranda and Mike Keohane, of the
Soccer Futuro travel group, have
specially arranged the tour program.
Professor Miranda is the Athletic
Director at the University of Sao Paulo
and Director of the Sao Paulo State
Professional Coaches Association.
The tour program is designed to meet the
training and continuing education of the
American soccer coach. The tour will
have, as it’s main objective an
introduction to coaching tactics,
conditioning and the overall training
methods of the game from the unique
perspective of some of the best coaches
in Brazil.
The tour program is intended to improve
the American coaches knowledge of the
“Brazilian” game, a greater appreciation
of it’s coaching methodology and an
enhanced appreciation of the philosophy
of coaching in Brazil.
Tour participants will meet and work
with the following professional soccer
clubs in Brazil:
Sao Paulo FC, SC Corinthians, Santos FC,
CR Flamengo, CR Fluminense and others.
Tour participants will meet and work
with the following groups:
- The Sao Paulo
State Professional Soccer Coaches
Association
- The
Association of Brazilian Coaches
- Professors of
Physical Education and Soccer Coaching
at the University of Sao Paulo
I have been to
this country many times before and found
the people to be very friendly, the
accommodations are excellent, the bus
transportation is comfortable and
efficient, the food is excellent, the
climate warm and comfortable
AND THEN THERE IS THE SOCCER!!!!
The entire country is absolutely
obsessed with the game.
$1850.00 pays for:
- All the
coaching education aspects of the tour
program
